Children Spring Portraits : Boston Family Photographer

FINALLY! Spring is in full swing here in New England and now is the perfect time to start planning your children and family portrait sessions! Since we’re still early in the season and Mother Nature may pull a fast one, fun studio portraits are a great alternative until the lush greenery returns for sure!

I love having unique backdrops (often 3D) and incorporating fun props into my sessions– for children, props are especially great! Many times my clients worry their children will lose interest in the session very quickly, which can defiantly happen, BUT having props helps to keep them engaged throughout the shoot. Let kids be kids! I want to showcase your child’s personality and all of their little quirks. Portraits that are genuine!

For this session, I played around with these fun paper-chain garlands.  As soon as Aubrianna stepped foot onto the backdrop, her face lit up. She was a ball full of energy! My cheeks hurt near the end of the session because I was smiling so much behind the camera. What a cutie she is and a joy to be around.
