Stylish Rehearsal Dinner in South Boston : Massachusetts Wedding Photographer

I often love assembling a fantastic team of creatives to put together inspiration shoots. I rarely have doubts amazing things will be in store when joined with a group of talented industry professionals for a day of hard work, inspiration, and fun! It’s one of my favorite things about being an artist! I recently teamed up and photographed this stylish rehearsal dinner in South Boston.

From the stylist Ashley Steele, A Styled Affair: “The second I stepped into Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar, I knew I had to use the space for a styled shoot. The exposed brick, rustic wood tables, green-washed accent wall and large mirror created the perfect backdrop for my vision. I wanted to style a whimsical and rustic rehearsal dinner by bringing in low and bold arrangements, gold-centric flatware and dinnerware, and comfy pillows for the long bench table. To counteract the rustic vibe and enhance the whimsical aspect, I decided to go out of my comfort zone and play up a bright color palette of pinks, oranges, blush and greens. I am always drawn to neutrals but knew the colors would bounce off the rustic finishes creating a pop of color.  I decided on black place cards with gold calligraphy to bring in the black wooden table up to the top of the place settings. The mix of dark rustic accents with bright spring flowers really created a fun and whimsical setting for an intimate dinner party or rehearsal dinner.”
